Curriculum Developer / Learning Content Designer (2026-07)

Cyber Catalyst Talent Solutions is seeking a Curriculum Developer / Learning Content Designer to support the development, organization, and deployment of digital learning content across Cyber Catalyst training programs. 

This role focuses on building structured learning modules, preparing instructional materials, and configuring the Learning Management System (LMS) to support the Cyber Catalyst asynchronous learning model. The successful candidate will translate curriculum plans into practical, accessible, and workforce‑aligned learning experiences that include modules, reference materials, labs, assessments, and well‑organized LMS course environments. 

This role is essential to ensuring instructors can focus on mentoring and learner success while delivering high‑quality, consistent training at scale. 

Key Responsibilities 

Curriculum Content Development 

  • Develop structured course modules, lesson outlines, and instructional content aligned with program objectives. 
  • Organize readings, labs, exercises, and supporting materials. 
  • Prepare reference materials, study guides, and certification‑aligned learning resources. 
  • Ensure alignment with industry certifications, microcredentials, and workforce outcomes. 
  • Learning materials may include: 
  • written modules 
  • technical tutorials 
  • step‑by‑step lab guides 
  • slide presentations 
  • recorded instructional segments 
  • certification preparation resources 

Learning Management System (LMS) Configuration 

  • Upload course materials and configure structured module pathways. 
  • Set up assignments, quizzes, assessments, and navigation elements. 
  • Manage learner access, availability settings, and course organization. 
  • Maintain version control of all course materials within the LMS. 
  • Ensure a clear, intuitive, and structured learner experience. 

Instructional Resource Development 

  • Create instructor teaching guides and lesson plans. 
  • Develop lab instructions, exercise documentation, and troubleshooting notes. 
  • Prepare quick‑start guides, reference sheets, and knowledge checks. 
  • Support consistent delivery across instructors and cohorts. 

Collaboration with Instructors 

  • Incorporate instructor feedback to refine modules and learning materials. 
  • Respond to learner challenges by clarifying or improving content. 
  • Prepare materials supporting virtual office hours, workshops, and learner support. 
  • Assist instructors with LMS navigation and access to content. 

Curriculum Maintenance & Updates 

  • Update modules to reflect new technologies, standards, or certification changes. 
  • Revise materials based on learner and instructor feedback. 
  • Maintain organized content repositories and documentation. 
  • Track and document version changes across course materials. 

Learning Quality & Accessibility 

  • Ensure learning materials are clear, accessible, and easy to navigate. 
  • Support inclusive and accessible learning design practices. 
  • Adapt content for learners from a wide range of backgrounds, including those transitioning from military service. 
  • Align materials with asynchronous learning best practices.

Qualifications 

Required 

  • 3+ years in instructional design, curriculum development, or digital learning 
  • Experience preparing course materials for online environments 
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems 
  • Strong writing and instructional communication skills 
  • Excellent organization and documentation abilities 

Preferred 

  • Experience developing cybersecurity or technical training programs 
  • Experience with asynchronous learning models 
  • Familiarity with industry certifications (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA) 
  • Experience in workforce development or adult education 
  • Experience designing technical labs or exercises
